Dual Workshop with Suzanna Winton, Soulful Watercolor
Portraits, and Fay Bridges Hyatt, Fine Art Oil Portraiture

Develop your skills in soulful watercolor portraiture or fine
art oil portraiture by taking from either artist in their respective medium or
make the most of a week long workshop opportunity by electing to take from each
artist in their respective medium.

Location: Art Works Gallery' Pine Mountain, GA

lodging available at Callaway Gardens, Mountain Top cabin rental.
Art Works Gallery is working on getting a discounted rate for
workshop participants and I will inform you of these locations.
Participants may elect to share cabin or chalet rentals as most will
sleep 3 to 5 comfortably without the necessity of sharing a
room.

Portraiture with Fay Bridges Hyatt
Dates: Monday March 23-Wednesday 25 - Fine Art Oil
Fay has developed a novel method of
teaching those who paint and work with transparent watercolor how to see
and paint with the opaque medium oil by translating common watercolor
terms and techniques into oil terms and techniques.

Soulful Watercolor Portraits with Suzanna Winton
Dates: Thursday March 26- Sunday (half-day) 29
This workshop will be an intense study of Portraiture. It is designed to help artist's of all levels learn how to successfully paint people in watercolor. This no nonsense approach of portraiture breaks down skin tones into 3 different applications of lights, mid tones, and darks. The student will also learn luminous color recipes as well as intensive study of the human features.
The instructor will give two demonstrations a day. In the morning, a full portrait and in the afternoon a demo will be given on a special feature such as, eyes (brown, blue, green) nose (three different angles and shapes), lips (closed lip smile, smile with teeth showing) hair (all different colors) and much, much more. There will be given an abundance of attention to the individual student as well as a final critique. The student will leave this workshop with a full understanding of portraiture and how to successfully and confidently paint a soulful painting of a person in watercolor.

A deposit of $125.00 will enlist you in the workshop of your choice or both sessions for the entire week. This deposit is non-refundable by March 10, unless selected class does not make minimum enrollment. Participation is limited to a maximum of 12, and a minimum
of 10 for each workshop.
